We continue to pray for the Holy Land amid the horror of the Israel-Hamas War, and the vastly disproportionate impact it has on civilians, particularly women and children in Palestine and continued military actions against civilians in the West Bank.

Our Service of Advent Lessons and Carols raised $700 for Episcopal Relief and Development, who with limited supplies from the World Health Organization and solar power, have re-opened Al Ahli Hospital with ten remaining staff members. The hospital is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem in Gaza. The Church on the hospital grounds is being used to house patients. There has been no news since December 4.

2024 DIOCESAN CONVENTION: The 129th Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington took place on Saturday, January 27, 2024
Resolution passed “CONDITIONING U.S. MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL”

Resolution passed “IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE INTERNATIONAL PALESTINIAN “BOYCOTT, DIVESTMENT, AND SANCTIONS” MOVEMENT (BDS)”
