Inscape Chamber Orchestra in concert 10.9.16

Known for their deft programming and virtuosic performances, this concert by the Grammy-nominated Inscape Chamber Orchestra features three lushly scored French masterworks showcasing their principal harpist Cara Fleck.  Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun opens a program that also includes Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro, a concerto for harp and ensemble.  Colorful works by Villa-Lobos, Ligeti, and Schnittke round out this lively and diverse concert.
