The Holy Eucharist – Sunday, at 8:00am
A quiet, contemplative liturgy with a sermon (but no music). The worshipping community gathers around the altar for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The Healing Rite – prayers for healing with laying on of hands – is offered on the third Sunday of each month. Children are welcome!
Choral Eucharist – Sunday, at 10:30am
A joyous service that embraces the fullness of the Anglican liturgical tradition. The service includes a sermon, congregational hymns and service music, and choral music, sung by the Adult and Youth choirs – almost sixty voices in all. Parishioners of all ages serve as crucifer, torch bearers, acolytes, lectors, and Eucharistic ministers. The Healing Rite – prayers for healing with laying on of hands – is offered on the third Sunday of each month. Nursery care is provided.
“Third Sunday” – 10:30am
Every third Sunday of the month, we dedicate our 10:30am Eucharist to our healing ministry, offering healing prayers and laying on of hands at the altar of St. Luke the Physician. During the distribution of communion, the invitation is open for you to have someone pray for you, for yourself, for someone you love, or for the world. During communion the Choir and
Taizé Ensemble lead us in contemplative song.
Morning Prayer – Wednesday, at 9:00 am
Within the context of the Daily Office, intercessory prayer is offered for those who have been commended to our prayers.
The Holy Eucharist – Wednesday, at 12 noon
An intimate, contemplative liturgy which employs both The Book of Common Prayer and materials from Enriching our Worship. The homily typically includes dialogue about the lectionary readings. The worshipping community gathers around the altar for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Redeemer’s liturgical cycle includes many services marking specific occasions in the Church Year. These include a Service of Lessons and Carols for Advent, a Solemn Requiem Mass on or near the Feast of All Souls, and services of Choral Evensong, as well as special liturgies at Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter. Please contact the Parish Office for more information about seasonal service schedules.
