Stewardship begins with an understanding that everything we have comes from God. We are blessed in so many different ways by a lavishly generous God who is active in our lives, as well as in scripture, history, and all of creation. Grateful for these gifts — large and small — that God has given us, we are invited to respond to His grace by generously giving back, by sharing the gifts and blessings bestowed upon us, and by caring for the world that God has entrusted to us.
Stewardship is about all parishioners sharing in the joy and responsibility that comes with being a member of The Church of the Redeemer. Stewardship is about being involved — year-round — through the giving of our time, talent, and treasure to nourish one another in spirit; support each other in our shared Christian life; sustain and maintain the physical structure and grounds; and spread the Gospel to those beyond Redeemer.
All members are invited to make giving to Redeemer a priority in gratitude for all that God has provided and for His giving of His only Son, Jesus Christ, so that we might be redeemed through Him. In making Redeemer a priority, we individually acknowledge the importance of our faith in living our lives in the culture of today with all its challenges.
If you have questions about stewardship, pledging or other donations to Redeemer, please contact the Rev’d Cricket Park, Rector: firstname.lastname@example.org; or the Parish Office: email@example.com or 301-229-3770.
