Who we are
Our core values
At Redeemer, all are welcome. We strive to be a community rooted in God’s love, grounded in the richness of our Episcopalian heritage, and committed to growing together in faith, hope, and service. If you are seeking a spiritual home for yourself or your family, please join us for weekly worship services on Sundays at 10:30am. Our worship follows the Book of Common Prayer and is centered on the Holy Eucharist. Wherever you are on your journey, please know that you are welcome here.
We believe that community extends beyond shared worship, and we are committed to loving and being present for our members and neighbors through all of life’s seasons, from birth and baptism to life’s twilight. We cherish the blessings of relationships and host a range of community events and musical performances throughout the year.
We hope that you will encounter and be transformed by the presence of God, and we invite you to take part in the story of faith unfolding here in Bethesda and throughout the world. Your ideas, your witness, and your voice are important ways to share God’s love in the world.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about the life of our parish, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would be glad to meet with you and hear your story. Additionally, if you would like more information about upcoming events, please click here to sign up for our weekly newsletter.

Our Vestry and officers
In the Episcopal Church, the vestry is the legal representative of the parish and is elected by the congregation. The vestry shapes and shares the congregation’s mission, and works to support the church’s mission by ensuring effective organization and planning, and efficient management of our resources and finances.
